The year 2020 is one for the record books and not necessarily in a good way. No one would have been right if they guessed what their year would look like in January. Even with everything going on we have plenty of reasons to still be calm.
- God has our backs. We might not have known what this year would look like but He did. He has our lives planned out and knows we are all going to be ok. Nothing is ever out of His control.
- We know how it ends. The bible tells the story from start to finish. He left that for our reassurance. If we know and believe in Him we will spend eternity with Him. There is nothing that I could be more grateful for than this.
- God gives us peace. The word peace appears 420 times in the King James Version of the bible. Worldly things cannot give us peace and understanding that He does. Look to Him for peace and calm in today’s world, nowhere else.
- We believe in Him. God redeems all who believe in Him. No matter what is going on in our lives as long as we look to Him for guidance all will be ok. We have this assurance because we know and believe in Him.
John 16:33 “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” God grants us peace and calms just by knowing and believing in Him. Always remember this when you see and hear of everything going on in the world. Look to Him always and you’ll be able to stay calm and know He has a plan through all of the trials and tribulations.
