This week we want to introduce you to Nikki.
She is a Senior Implementation Specialist.
Nikki Tasby and ACS Technologies are celebrating 11 years together. She said she has experienced many life changes throughout the years: “When I welcomed my three children into this world, and also when I unfortunately lost family members, the people of ACST were there for me. I think that is a rare quality in people, and especially a big company, and I am very thankful to be a part of it.”
Nikki’s not-so-secret talent is her love of cooking: “Making a meal for people that they enjoy is definitely something that makes me who I am.”
Her ideal day off would include relaxing and doing nothing. But with three kids in tow, “there isn’t anything quiet or lazy about our lives!” They also have a boxer, Ava, who turned 1 in October. Raising the puppy and a new baby makes life interesting!
Let’s check out what her typical workday looks like, why she loves working at ACST, and her driving passion for the Church.
Describe a typical day at ACST for you?
On a typical day I get to speak with clients from all over and who are at different points in their software journey. Some are in the process of moving from their current software that may not be fulfilling their needs, while others have never had a Church Management Software and this will be the very first time using one. My days are never boring, and I get to help them implement new tools and resources to help strengthen their ministry and reach.
Tell us what you love most about working at ACST?
I love that I get to help the local church and the denomination office fulfill their ministry. With working in Implementation and Onboarding, I get the privilege of helping these people have software that makes their daily lives easier, so they can focus on their ministry and being able to serve their communities.
What is your driving passion for the Church?
My driving passion is helping support the needs of the Church. I get to be the voice of reason, talking people off the ledge during the process of changing software as it can be very stressful on top of the everyday duties our clients already have. I get to offer advice and guidance from my many years of experience as an Implementation Specialist. My passion for helping people is instrumental in our client’s launching a new software to their congregation.
